Invoicing software in Algeria 2026: free or paid, compared (VAT, stamp duty, G50)

Seven ways to issue invoices in Algeria, compared from vendor pages on 1 November 2026: prices in dinars, desktop or cloud, G50, languages, and what changes in 2027.

Short answer (1 November 2026): for a handful of invoices a month, a free tool is enough, as long as it carries every mandatory item. Once you handle stock, several seats or G50 preparation, Algerian vendors publish prices from about 12,000 DA a year (FactSpeed Pro, Fisira Facturation) up to a few thousand dinars a month (Facturili). None of the vendors we read shows an official DGI approval, and the law does not ask for approval to issue an invoice: it asks for specific items on it.

Disclosure: bizalgeria.com, NEKST DIGITAL and dzcollab share the same owner. The invoice generator mentioned below is a free bizalgeria tool.

How we compare. This comparison relies on public information: vendor pricing and feature pages, official documentation and legal texts, read on 1 November 2026. We did not test these tools in real conditions and we do not score them. Prices change: check the vendor’s page before you pay. No vendor listed here paid to appear.

What invoicing software has to do in Algeria

Start with the invoice, not the software. According to the Ministry of Commerce, every sale or service between economic operators needs an invoice, and it carries the same items on paper or electronically: seller name and address, legal form, activity, trade register number, NIS, payment method and date, date and sequence number, description, quantity, unit price and total before tax, taxes, and the total including tax in figures and in words. The full list is in our article on the auto-entrepreneur invoice.

A good tool should at least:

  1. fill in those items without gaps and number invoices with no missing numbers;
  2. calculate VAT (19% and 9%, or none depending on your regime) and the stamp duty on cash payments;
  3. let you export your data, for your accountant and for a possible tax audit;
  4. if you need it, prepare the G50 amounts.

Check your rates with the VAT calculator and your due dates with the tax calendar.

The options one by one

Free: the bizalgeria generator and a spreadsheet

The bizalgeria invoice generator fills in the items on the ministry list and produces a PDF. It is our tool, it is free, and its limits are clear: it can remember your seller details in your browser if you tick the option, but it keeps no invoice history or numbering, and it handles neither stock nor accounting. It suits a freelancer or auto-entrepreneur who sends a few invoices a month.

A spreadsheet works too, if you keep a clean register: one number per invoice, no gaps, and a copy of every PDF you send. Its weakness lies elsewhere: anyone can change a row without leaving a trace. That is not a problem for an invoice, but it can become one for your accounts (see 2027 below).

Odoo, the free one-app plan

Odoo shows a “One App Free” plan: a single app, unlimited users, hosted on Odoo Online. If that app is invoicing, you get an online tool for free. Odoo also publishes an “Algeria - Accounting” localization. Two caveats: we have not confirmed that the standard invoice template carries every Algerian item without configuration, and Odoo support is not offered in Arabic. If you want to go further with Odoo, read our ERP comparison for SMEs.

FactSpeed: desktop software priced in dinars

FactSpeed, based in Oran according to its page, installs on Windows or macOS and keeps your invoices on your computer; the internet is used for activation, licence checks and updates. Annual licences run from 12,000 DA including tax (one seat) to 24,000 DA per seat, with a lifetime licence priced at checkout and a 10-day free trial. One detail worth praising: the vendor itself writes that “no DGI approval is claimed” and advises you to have your settings checked by your accountant.

Fisira: online, billed yearly

Fisira is an online service sold by the year in dinars, tax included: 11,900 DZD for the Facturation plan (three users), 22,000 DZD with stock, and 35,000 DZD for the full plan with accounting and G50 returns. There is a 30-day trial, and payment is by bank transfer or CCP according to the page. The vendor says data is hosted in Algeria.

Facturili: online, billed monthly

Facturili publishes three monthly plans: 2,900 DA (Starter), 5,900 DA (Pro, with stock and a pre-filled G50) and 11,900 DA (Entreprise, multi-company). Yearly billing works out to two months free. The page itself says applicable taxes and any trial period are still to be confirmed, so ask for the final price before you commit.

Winalco GSCOM: full sales management on Windows

Winalco GSCOM targets businesses that need more than invoicing: sales, purchasing, imports, production and multi-warehouse stock, on a single seat or a network. The product page lists VAT, stamp duty, form 104 and a G50 summary, and the software generates entries for Winalco SCF. No price is shown on the page we read.

What changes on 1 January 2027

The 2026 Finance Law creates, from 1 January 2027, a duty to show a vendor commitment (or, for tills, a certificate) confirming that data is inalterable, secured, retained and archived. It covers two cases: a VAT-registered business that records sales without an invoice on software or a till, and an audited business whose accounts are computerised. Everything is explained in our article on software and tills in 2027.

What this means for plain invoicing software is not spelled out. The useful reflex: if your tool also keeps your accounts or runs your till, ask the vendor now whether it will provide that commitment in 2027. “DGI-approved software” sold today has no legal meaning until the implementing orders are published.

Which one to choose

  • Freelancer or auto-entrepreneur, fewer than 10 invoices a month: the free generator or a well-kept spreadsheet. See also the quote template.
  • Small shop that wants everything on its own computer, even offline: desktop software such as FactSpeed or Winalco.
  • Several people invoicing from different places: an online service (Fisira, Facturili, Odoo).
  • Stock, imports or production: full sales management software, or an ERP (see our ERP comparison).
  • Invoicing has to live inside your own application (your site, your platform, your business software): that is a development project, see the box below.

Whatever you pick, issue three test invoices during the free trial and show them to your accountant before you pay.

Option: build invoicing into your own software

When the invoice has to come out of your own platform (a business app, a client portal, a SaaS), none of the tools above really fits: you need to build or connect. You can give this work to a freelance developer, a local agency or a studio. One example of a studio is NEKST DIGITAL, which presents a custom software and SaaS offer with APIs and connections to payment services and the tools you already use, and promises a reply within two working days with scope, timeline and price. NEKST DIGITAL has the same owner as bizalgeria. Get quotes from at least three providers using our checklist.

Frequently asked questions

Is there free invoicing software in Algeria?

Yes. The bizalgeria invoice generator is free, and Odoo offers one free app with unlimited users. A spreadsheet is free too. The paid Algerian tools offer trials: 10 days at FactSpeed and 30 days at Fisira, according to their pages on 1 November 2026.

Does invoicing software need DGI approval?

No text we read requires approval to issue an invoice: what matters is the mandatory items. From 2027, the 2026 Finance Law asks for a vendor commitment for some till and accounting software, not an approval.

Is an invoice made in Excel valid?

The Ministry of Commerce says the items are the same whatever the format. A complete Excel invoice, numbered with no gaps, is still an invoice. The difficulty is rather with accounts kept in an editable spreadsheet.

Which software prepares the G50?

Several vendors say theirs does: FactSpeed (pre-filled statements), Fisira (Complète plan), Facturili (from Pro), Winalco GSCOM (summary). The return remains your responsibility, so check the amounts before you file.

How much does Algerian invoicing software cost?

On the pages read on 1 November 2026: from 11,900 DZD a year (Fisira Facturation) and 12,000 DA a year (FactSpeed Pro) up to 11,900 DA a month (Facturili Entreprise). Some vendors show no price.

What we could not confirm

  • Whether Odoo’s standard invoice template carries every Algerian item without configuration.
  • The languages of Fisira and Winalco GSCOM, and the price of Winalco GSCOM.
  • Whether Facturili’s prices include taxes, and any trial period (the page itself says “to be confirmed”).
  • Whether the 2027 rules apply to software that only does invoicing, and how they apply to IFU taxpayers.
  • All compliance claims (“DGI compliant”, “hosted in Algeria”) are the vendors’ own; we did not check them technically.
